Music has always been a bit part of Sinclair’s life. But at the tender age of 15, in 1999/2000 at the turn of the millennium, when he heard the low end of an 808 kick drum rumble in his ears and shake him to his core for the first time, he instantly knew that his life would be changed forever.
Shortly after going to his first party at ‘The Underground’ in his home town of Windsor, Ontario. Craig fell in love with the scene, the music and the art of dj’ing. He took the time to learn the craft and put in endless hours as a bedroom Dj and playing at local house parties. People started to take notice and he finally landed his first gig at the very same place he first stepped foot on the dance floor in ‘The Underground.
Around 2007, Craig found a home landing his first monthly residency in Windsors biggest electronic music club The Boom Boom Room where he has the opportunity to warm up the dance floor for world
renown Dj’s like Lee Burridge, Glenn Morrison, Sydney Blu and Deko-ze to name a few.
In 2020, while we were all locked down, Craig was introduced to live music production on drum machines, synthesizers and samplers from one of his best buds Anthony Gomez.
What started out as harmless jamming with a best friend, quickly turned into a new project venture with Anthony called ‘Mothers Against Drum Machines’ (MADM for short). Since then the duo have been performing live and writing new music with their machines as well as focusing on solo Dj ventures.
In music production and selecting tracks for Dj sets, Craig draws inspiration from artists like Richie Hawtin, Rene Wise, Connor Wall, Paul Hauck, Shoal, Marçal, BMG, Erika, Chlär and Erik Luebs to name a few.
